PROBLEM

Nuix was preparing to launch their HB² program—an internal initiative designed to help staff embrace artificial intelligence across the business. The goal was to provide all employees with foundational knowledge of AI, practical tools to engage with it in their roles, and the confidence to contribute to AI adoption.

With tight timelines and a full company rollout planned, Nuix required a rapid development process and a training solution that was visually striking, interactive, and aligned with their innovative brand.

SOLUTION

Strawberry Solutions worked closely with Nuix to develop a five-module program delivered via Articulate Rise. The HB² training needed to be fast-paced and action-oriented while maintaining clarity and strong instructional design principles.

Key components of the solution:

  • Rapid development and rollout
A streamlined development process ensured timely delivery across all five modules, allowing Nuix to meet their rollout schedule without compromising quality.
  • High-impact visual design
Nuix provided a bold, modern brand style which was integrated across all modules to maintain a strong visual identity and reinforce the forward-thinking nature of the content.
  • Real-world application
Each module included “challenges”—practical tasks and scenarios that encouraged learners to immediately apply new knowledge in their work context, reinforcing key concepts through action.
  • Embedded SME videos
Short videos from Nuix subject matter experts were featured throughout the course to bring authenticity, deepen engagement, and show the relevance of AI to different business functions.

VALUE DELIVERED

Nuix’s HB2 program now provides a consistent, engaging, and visually powerful learning experience that enables all staff to participate in the organisation’s AI journey.

  • 5 self-paced modules provide accessible training for teams across the business.
  • Custom challenges promote immediate, practical application of AI concepts.
  • On-brand visual style ensures alignment with internal communications and culture.
  • SME video content adds depth and credibility while showcasing internal expertise.
  • Rapid delivery met business timelines while maintaining instructional integrity.

This program supports Nuix’s commitment to innovation by equipping staff with the knowledge and tools needed to work confidently with AI in their roles.

Strawberry Solutions built the Nuix AI eLearning program to turn a complex AI rollout into confident, everyday practice. The result is a consistent, engaging experience that brings every Nuix employee into the organisation’s AI journey.

Building the Nuix AI eLearning program

Nuix needed a way to bring every employee along on a fast-moving AI rollout, known internally as HB2. Because the technology touched every team differently, a single generic course would not work. It would not hold attention or drive real behaviour change. Strawberry Solutions designed the Nuix AI eLearning program around short, visually led modules. Each module explains what AI means for a role and how to use it responsibly.

In particular, the program favours real workplace scenarios over abstract theory. This means staff can see the relevance immediately and apply it the same day. To keep the experience consistent, the team built a flexible content structure. This structure can scale as Nuix’s AI strategy matures over time. Similarly, the visual design draws on the same gradient-led imagery used across Nuix’s brand. As a result, the learning feels like a natural extension of the business.

The approach behind the training experience

Good learning design borrows from user-centred design principles, an approach championed by the Nielsen Norman Group. While building the program, Strawberry Solutions applied the same thinking. Test early, keep interactions simple, and remove anything that does not help the learner. For example, each module opens with a short, plain-language explanation. Then staff apply the idea in context straight away.

This kept cognitive load low for every learner. It also gave Nuix’s learning and development team a consistent framework. The team can extend that framework as new AI capabilities roll out. As a result, the Nuix AI eLearning program now supports onboarding for new starters. It also works well as refresher training for existing staff. The finished program sits alongside Strawberry Solutions’ broader custom eLearning design and development work. It draws on the same production pipeline used for other client projects. Finally, early feedback from staff has been positive. The program is credited for making a technical AI rollout feel approachable rather than intimidating.
