PROBLEM

RACV was building capability across the organisation to support the safe, effective, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. This required two distinct eLearning experiences: one for all employees using AI in day-to-day work, and another for AI Owners responsible for overseeing AI-enabled systems, processes, and governance.

The challenge was to create learning that encouraged confidence and adoption while also reinforcing privacy, risk awareness, and organisational requirements. RACV needed a solution that could introduce approved AI tools, explain how they should be used in practice, and give employees clear guidance on where to go for further support.

SOLUTION

Strawberry Solutions designed and developed two tailored eLearning modules in Articulate Rise: the AI Users module and the AI Owners module. Together, these modules introduced RACV employees to approved AI tools, safe use practices, governance expectations, and practical ways to apply AI in their roles.

Key components of the solution:

  • Audience-specific learning design
Two separate modules were created to reflect the different responsibilities of general AI users and AI Owners. This ensured content was relevant, appropriately pitched, and aligned to the kinds of decisions each audience would need to make in practice.
  • Scenario-based learning
Both modules used realistic workplace scenarios, reflective challenges, and knowledge checks to help learners apply AI concepts in context. Scenarios focused on safe and effective use of approved AI tools, responsible handling of sensitive information, process improvement, and governance decision-making.
  • Clear guidance on approved AI use
The modules introduced RACV’s approved AI tools and explained the difference between approved enterprise-supported tools and unapproved public tools. Learners were guided to make informed choices about when AI could support a task and what information should not be entered.
  • Governance-aligned content
The learning experiences were structured to align with RACV’s AI guidance and emerging governance approach, including privacy considerations, intellectual property, risk awareness, and approval requirements for AI Owners.
  • Accessible and practical design
The modules were built in Rise for simple, self-paced access across the business, with clear structure, concise content, and interactive elements that supported engagement without overwhelming learners.

VALUE DELIVERED

The completed AI learning suite gives RACV a clear and scalable foundation for building AI capability across the organisation.

Employees now have practical guidance on how to use approved AI tools with more confidence, make better decisions about when AI is appropriate, and recognise when extra care is needed around privacy, intellectual property, and human oversight.

For AI Owners, the learning provides stronger role clarity around supporting team uptake, identifying useful AI opportunities, improving business processes, and understanding when governance or approval pathways may apply.

By separating the learning for general AI users and AI Owners, RACV can support different audiences with content that is relevant to their responsibilities rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

The modules support RACV’s broader AI enablement goals by helping employees build confidence with AI, apply it more effectively in their work, and better understand the responsibilities that come with its use.
