PROBLEM
As part of its Future Skills Framework, TAFE NSW sought to create outcome-driven micro credentials that would equip learners with essential skills in emerging areas of construction and industry innovation. The goal was to provide practical, accessible learning experiences aligned with workforce needs while maintaining consistency across multiple disciplines.
The challenge was to deliver a cohesive suite of non-accredited microlearning units that reflected TAFE NSW’s quality standards, supported online delivery, and integrated seamlessly within the existing Moodle LMS.
SOLUTION
Between 2022 and 2024, Strawberry Solutions developed 20 micro credentials covering topics such as Sustainability Practices in Construction, Automation and Robotics, Modular Construction, Psychosocial Health and Wellbeing, and Project Change Management.
Key components of the solution:
- Structured content and assessment design
Included portfolio tasks, project assessments, and knowledge checks to reinforce learning outcomes. - Engaging eLearning builds
Created in Articulate Rise with clear structure, intuitive navigation, and consistent visual design across all credentials. - Virtual delivery support
Session slides and activities were designed for blended and online facilitation. - LMS configuration and QA testing
Strawberry Solutions built directly within the TAFE NSW Moodle environment, ensuring a seamless learner experience and compliance with internal accessibility and functionality standards.
